Best Restaurant for Halloween in Las Vegas, NV
It probably isn’t going to surprise you to learn that Las Vegas is a heck of a good place to celebrate Halloween: This is the kind of town that knows how to party, after all, and which doesn’t skimp on the spectacle.
If you’ll be trick-or-treating your way through Sin City this October, we hope you’ll make an Italian meal on the Strip at Mercato della Pescheria part of your festivities! Here’s a look at just a few of the Halloween events on tap this year in Las Vegas: any and all of them great places to work up an appetite for a feast at our authentic Italian restaurant.
Pegged as the top scariest haunt in America by USA Today, the Freakling Bros. Horror Shows experience—founded back in 1976 and still at its heart a family-run affair (though not necessarily a family-friendly affair)—encompasses three fright zones: Castle Vampyre, marking its last year; the Coven of 13; and the aptly named Gates of Hell, which holds the dubious distinction of being Nevada’s only R-rated haunted house. These are separately ticketed attractions, but you can also spring for the “Freak Pass” ($40) to tackle the full “Trilogy of Terror.”
The Freakling Bros. Horror Shows are underway most of the month of October except for some select dates off; check out the calendar here.
Rock of Horror at the Fremont Street Experience
Fremont Street Experience throws an all-out Halloween street party in the form of Rock of Horror, taking place October 26th through October 31st. Enjoy live music, costume contests, the “Wicked Dreams” show, and roaming Halloween-garbed entertainers in the heart of downtown.
Halloween at Opportunity Village: HallOVeen & Vegas Fright Nights
Family-friendly Halloween delights await in the HallOVeen installation at the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village, where you’ll find everything from an animatronic skeleton in the cemetery ready to read you a spooky tale to trick-or-treating and impressive pumpkin setups. HallOVeen’s in action October 11th through October 13th and then again October 18th through October 31st.
A significantly scarier realm takes over the Magical Forest in the evening: Vegas Fright Nights, which includes the scare zones of Nightmare Manor and Clown Invasion in 3D. The first hour, commencing at 5:30 PM, is a less-intense version; things get more hair-raising after that.
